rev. hannah elyse cornthwaite, CDW, Priest-in-Charge (they/she)
hannah was born and raised on a small island in Alaska. She studied Pre-Med and History (late antiquity and early church history) at Northwestern College in Iowa, and attended seminary at Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley.
They were ordained to the priesthood in May 2015 by the Rt. Rev. Alan Scarfe in their ordaining Diocese of Iowa. After ordination, she moved to Beijing, China to study Mandarin and serve as pastor at Congregation of the Good Shepherd, an ecumenical expat congregation. In 2017, they returned home to San Francisco to serve as chaplain and director of ministry at Ecumenical House at SFSU for five years. In 2019, hannah was called to serve as vicar of St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church, San Francisco.
hannah is a companion with the Companions of Dorothy the Worker — spiritual companions in queer community.
Their theological interests include early church theology of sexuality and friendship, indigenous spirituality, racial and gender justice, and spirituality and trauma. hannah finds grounding in yoga, breathwork, flyfishing, watching the San Francisco Giants and Golden State Warriors, and making art. She is married to her fab partner, Steven. They have two beloved pups and acolytes, Ziggy and Bandito.

Bill Keck (he/him), Music Director
Bill studied piano with Soulima Stravinsky (son of Igor) and worked theatrically with E.Y. Harburg, Sheldon Harnick and Alan Menken. His tenure with singer and RCA artist John Gary spanned five nationwide tours, symphony concerts, showroom acts and recordings. He served five years as guest conductor for Milwaukee’s Music Under the Stars. Bill ushered in the Millennium by conducting chanteuse Raquel Bitton’s Edith Piaf concert tour, including three performances at Carnegie Hall. Over 7,000 wee folks a year enjoy Bill with the Children’s Theater Association of San Francisco; and every Sunday he’s behind both organ and piano at Holy Innocents’ Church
